Pizza (THM-S, sugar free)

Published by Espressoyourself on

I got these pizza stones at Boscovs, marked down to five dollars each, (originally $20.00),so I had to try it tonight. I used a sourdough pizza crust from Around the Family Table cookbook. My son got a deer last week, so I was grinding that and used it for the pizza.

Ingredients:

Sourdough pizza crust or

Flathead Pizza Dough:

1 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese

2 tbsp cream cheese

3/4 cup baking blend (or almond/coconut flour mix)

1 egg

1/4 tsp salt

1 tsp garlic powder (or minced garlic)

1 tsp oregano

Instructions for the flathead crust:

Microwave cheese and cream cheese about 1 1/2 minutes, stirring in between, till it’s soft. Meanwhile, collect the other ingredients, and then add to the cheese mixture. I mix it a little then dump it onto a parchment paper. With another parchment paper on top I mix it well. It doesn’t stick to the fingers that way. Once it’s mixed, roll it between the parchment paper to a medium pizza pan size. You can either pre-bake it for ten minutes at 375 or bake at 375 with toppings for about 15 minutes. I’ve tried it both ways and it gets crispier if it’s pre-baked.

Tomato sauce with a little added stevia

1 pound ground meat

1 onion

1 garlic

1 tsp mineral salt *

1/2 tsp pepper

1/2 tsp oregano

1/2 tsp basil

Mozzarella cheese shredded

Optional toppings: pepper, mushrooms, olives, other veggies, pepperoni, ham

Instructions: Fry the burger with the onion and garlic and spices. Put the sauce on the prepared rolled out dough, then the hamburger mixture, optional toppings and cheese. Bake at 375 degrees for 15-20 minutes. The bottom rack will crisp up the crust more.
